Petite sizing is proportionally designed apparel fitting those that typically fall into the 4'10" - 5'4" height range.
However, we're not all perfectly proportional. A woman who is 5'5" could prefer a shorter inseam bottom due to having shorter legs and a longer torso. Whereas someone who is 5'4" may prefer standard size inseams but may have a shorter torso, narrow shoulders or shorter arms. Petite and petite-friendly tops would be a great solution.
Unsure if Petite sizing works for you? Come check us out and we'll help!
Fun Fact: The average woman in the United States is 5'3.5" - by standard, making her petite! Don't believe us? Check out the CDC website!
The Petite Frame is Kansas City's premier destination for contemporary petite fashion. We offer a curated collection of petite sizes as well as petite-friendly styles (meaning they may be tagged as standard sizing but are styles that work great on petite frames).
We are so excited to offer some nationally recognized designers like Karen Kane & Oliver Logan. We've also partnered with a NEW petite loungewear brand called SMOL (we can't wait to share these with you!).
We'll also carry a lot of phenomenal names that are guaranteed to be high quality, affordable pieces you'll wear on repeat.
